The Object 277 was a Soviet-era experimental heavy tank developed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was designed to replace the T-10 heavy tank, which was in service with the Soviet Army at the time. The Object 277 featured a powerful 1,000-horsepower diesel engine, which gave it excellent mobility and speed for a tank of its size.
