Specifications Matra MS10 Ford F1 OW 1968 blueprint

The Matra MS10 Ford F1 OW 1968 is a classic race car of the golden age of Formula 1 racing. This car was used by the British racing team Matra to compete in the 1968 Formula 1 season. Its sleek and aerodynamic design combined with the latest technology of its time, made it a formidable competitor on the track. It featured a powerful Ford Cosworth DFV engine rated at 410 hp, a 5-speed Hewland LG500 manual gearbox, and a Lotus 72-style chassis made of aluminium and magnesium. The MS10 was a force to be reckoned with and it represented Matra's first foray into Formula 1 after joining the grid in 1966. It was driven by Jackie Stewart and Jean-Pierre Beltoise and was painted in the distinctive two-tone blue and red livery of the French racing team. On the track, the Matra MS10 Ford F1 OW 1968 proved to be consistently quick and reliable, and it was the first Matra car to win a Formula 1 race, with Jean-Pierre Beltoise taking victory at the 1968 Monaco Grand Prix. The car also scored an impressive six fourth-place finishes in the 1968 championship, and to this day it remains one of the most iconic and beloved cars in Formula 1 history.
