The BRM 154 Can Am OW 1970 is a classic, vintage motorcycle that is considered to be one of the most sought-after motorcycles of its era. This motorcycle features a 2-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a displacement of 154cc. It has an open-wheeled design, with a single, longitudinally-oriented cylinder, mounted in the centre of the bike. At the time of its manufacture, the BRM had the distinction of being the only engine of its kind to be available with a three-gear, manual transmission and a great deal of performance. The frame was made of gold-painted tubular steel, which was then suspended on a monoshock telescopic fork and a pair of adjustable paddles. This gave the BRM an incredibly nimble and responsive ride quality. The exhaust pipe is chrome-plated, giving the bike a very distinctive look. The BRM also featured a range of performance parts, such as a chromed fuel tank, a chrome uplift link, and a pre-set chain tensioner. This, combined with the high-revving engine, made the BRM one of the most sought-after motorcycles of its era.
