Specifications Renault NC27 blueprint

The Renault NC27 was a French light tank designed in the late 1920s and produced in the 1930s. It was primarily used as a reconnaissance tank. The NC27 was armed with a 37mm main gun and a 7.5mm machine gun, and had a crew of two. It had a riveted hull and a cast turret, with an overall weight of around 6.5 tons. The tank was powered by a 4-cylinder, water-cooled engine that provided a top speed of around 25 km/h. The NC27 was intended to replace the older Renault FT-17 light tank, and featured a number of improvements over its predecessor. It had a more powerful engine, better suspension, and thicker armor. However, it was still relatively lightly armored and armed compared to other tanks of the period. During the Battle of France in 1940, the NC27 saw limited use and was quickly outmatched by the heavier and more powerful German tanks. Despite its limitations, the NC27 remained in service with the French Army until the end of World War II, and also saw limited use by the Free French and Vichy French forces.
