The Arrows A21 F1 OW 2000 was a legendary Formula One car created by the British team, Arrows, in the 2000 season. It was the first Arrows racecar to use a chassis constructed with the latest state-of-the-art carbon fibre materials. The car featured an angular nosecone, equipped with a trio of air intakes to cool the powerful BMW SA6 engine. The slim teardrop-shaped body extended along the chassis sides, tapered towards the rear wing, and featured a racing livery of matte black with asymmetric flashes of bright yellow that were a trademark of the Arrows team. Drivers Pedro de la Rosa and Jos Verstappen trusted the Arrows A21 to break new records, while remaining loyal to the Arrows name. The chassis balance and suspension, a combination of pushrod and pullrod torsionals, provided excellent stability at high-speed corners, helping the car to be surprisingly nimble and manageable for its era. The Arrows A21 F1 OW 2000 was a remarkable car that utterly transformed Arrows' standing in the international Formula One racing scene.
