The Jordan 198 F1 OW 1998 was an impressive Formula 1 car that was specifically designed for the teams 1998 season. At the time, it was one of the most visually striking and aerodynamically advanced cars in the series, with its unique curved silhouette. The front wing was designed to reduce the drag at high speeds, allowing for quicker acceleration and improved overall performance. Additionally, the deep nose and efficient side pods helped create an effective air foil, further enhancing the cars speed capabilities. The car was powered by a 3-litre, V10 engine that was capable of producing more than 700 horsepower. This allowed the car to reach speeds of more than 330 kilometres per hour and easily keep up with the competition. The exterior of the Jordan 198 F1 OW 1998 was entirely made out of composite materials including carbon fibre and Kevlar. Interestingly, the car was designed to use much of the same technology and mechanics that were found on the Jordan 191 F1 from the previous year. The drivers compartment was also designed with safety in mind, being equipped with the latest Head and Neck System (HANS) which provided increased protection for the drivers head and neck during crashes and accidents. Ultimately, the Jordan 198 F1 OW 1998 was a car that was built for speed and reliability. It was the combination of modern technology and the culmination of Jordans engineering expertise that made it a formidable opponent on the track.
