The Jordan 192 F1 OW 1992 was a Formula One race car that had an iconic design like no other. It was a single-seat car powered by the 3.5-litre Judd V8 engine, producing around 650 horsepower. The chassis was a mixture of carbon fibre and aluminium, as part of the monocoque construction. It was the first Jordan Grand Prix car to be designed by Gary Anderson and was an evolutionary step from their all-conquering 191 chassis. The aerodynamic package was also revolutionary; with a high-mounted rear wing, sidepods, and a sleek nose. Inside, the cockpit featured a tight fit for drivers, lined with high-end components like Magazines pedals and a Williams reverse gearbox. The chassis weighed in at only 600 kg, making it exceptionally light. Its iconic livery was designed by Dave Aldana, a colour scheme of yellow, green and navy blue. With all these components, the Jordan 192 F1 OW 1992 proved to be a formidable racing car, taking the Bulls to their first two podium finishes and a high 5th place in the drivers championship. It was a reliable and easy to drive car, a combination that proved successful for Jordan in the 1992 season and beyond.
