The Brabham Climax BT3 F1 OW 1962 is an iconic single-seat Formula One racing car, which was designed by the legendary engineer Jack Brabham and his superior team. Its streamlined body was constructed with an aluminium and steel reinforced monocoque frame and featured a 2.5 litre straight-4 Climax FPF engine producing 215 horsepower. This was mated to a modified FWMW 5-speed manual transmission and the smartly designed car was capable of reaching a top speed of 189 mph. The car's performance was further enhanced with first-in-class alloy wheels wrapped in Dunlop Avon tyres, which also made it more agile as well as light-weight. Suspension was dialled in with unequal-length double wishbone setup in front with coilover shocks and a rigid axle with radius arms and coilover shocks in the rear. The car also featured improved aerodynamics due to a widened track and long wheelbase as well as prominent air intakes to cool the engine bay, and four separate exhaust pipes to improve engine efficiency. In short, the Brabham Climax BT3 F1 OW 1962 was an excellent combination of power, agility, and finesse.
