The Ducati 888 is one of the most legendary bikes in Ducatis history and inspired generations of riders. It was released in 1991 and was a direct descendant of the 851, another revolutionary Ducati model. Its a Superbike designed for high-speed performance and has become iconic in the racing world, seen at the top end of the sport events. Its a lightweight and nimble machine, offering agility and responsiveness, allowing riders to perform well in competitions. The Ducati 888 features a liquid-cooled 8-valve V-twin engine, offering bikes 92 hp at 9500 rpm. Its a robust and reliable unit, capable of delivering smooth and consistent power. Ducati fitted it with a close-ratio six-speed gearbox too, allowing riders to use all of the available torque and acceleration.
