Specifications Shadow DN3 F1 OW 1974 blueprint

The Shadow DN3 F1 OW 1974 is a classic Formula One racing car, with a unique and remarkable design. Designed by Tony Southgate and Dave Wass, the car features an aerodynamic, single-seater chassis, with a distinctive blue and yellow livery to match. The engine is an aluminium moncoque, equipped with a 6.5-litre Ford Cosworth DFV V8, producing around 500 bhp, mated to a Hewland FG 400 transmission to put all that power down to the ground. The suspensions are independent all-round, with double wishbones and outboard-mounted coil-springs, and the car is capable of a top speed of around 180mph. Inside the car, it has all the latest equipment, including a fire suppression system, a data acquisition system, and an on-board telemetry system. The Shadow DN3 F1 OW 1974 is an iconic racing car, and it commands respect both inside and outside the racetrack.
