The Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR Coupe was released in 1969 by the Italian automaker as a limited production model. This limited production coupe sports car came as a collaboration between Fiat and Carlo Abarth and made big waves in the racing industry due to its high-performance racing capabilities. The car features a lightweight fiberglass body and aerodynamic design which makes it even faster on the track. Under the hood is a 1089 cc inline-4 cylinder engine which produces 90 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to an Abarth 5-speed transmission with synchronized 1st and 2nd gears plus an Abarth limited slip differential. The engine features a pair of 45 DCOEs Weber carburetors and other upgrades like a custom exhaust, a revised intake manifold, and high-performance spark plugs. It has independent coil suspension on the front and a live axle with telescopic dampers on the rear, plus disc brakes on all four wheels. This hardy coupe has a two-toned paint job of Rallye Red on the lower half with a glossy black on top. The car is also equipped with an adjustable spoiler wing and black five-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is outfitted with Sparco racing seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a comprehensive gauge cluster that includes a tachometer. The Abarth 1000 TCR was in production for only one year and is still a sought-after collectible car due to its worth and rarity.
