Specifications Bedford CA Mk II Van 1965 blueprint

The Bedford CA Mk II Van from 1965 is a classic British commercial vehicle that was used for many purposes such as transporting goods, delivering parcels, and transporting up to 8 passengers. It was a four-cylinder, 2.2-litre engine model which is capable of reaching a top speed of 63 mph. The wheelbase is 8 ft 6 in, with a total length of 14ft 8in. It has a distinctive look, with a nearly flat bonnet and a steeply sloping grille. The cabin is made of metal with sliding doors, and two-piece hinged rear doors. There is a single bench seat at the front and two fold-down jump seats at the rear. It is available in a variety of two-tone colour combinations, with a grey-blue lower body and ivory upper half. The body is made of steel and is well-reinforced, as well as weatherproofed to help protect cargo. The rear door is square and has a heavy-duty lock for added security. The suspension is independent on all four wheels. It has strong brakes, and the wheel arches at the rear are wide. This makes them ideal for carrying big, bulky loads. It is definitely an iconic model that will always be remembered for its practicality and style.
