Specifications Reggiane Re2000 blueprint

The Reggiane Re.2000 Falco was an Italian World War II Air Force fighter aircraft. Developed by the Officine Meccaniche Reggiane SpA DB with the guidance of designer Roberto Longi. It was structurally equivalent to the American Seversky P35 fighter. It was produced in the factory of Italy during the period of May 1940 December 1941. Hungarian licensed production ended in August 1944. It was produced 380 units. The fighter was superior to competitors the Macchi MC200 Saetta the Messerschmitt Bf 109E and the FIAT CR42 in speed maneuverability stability and landing characteristics. Italian fighter aircraft entered the fighting in September 1941. Hungarian aircraft first performed air defense functions then were deployed to the Eastern Front and Swedish served to intercept border violators. It was in service until 1955.
