The Toleman TG184 F1 OW 1984 is a historic Formula One racecar that has become iconic in the racing world. The car was raced in the 1984 Formula One season and driven by Teo Fabi, who piloted the car to a fourth place finish in the 1984 Dutch Grand Prix. As one of the last turbocharged engines used in Formula One, the Toleman TG184 F1 OW 1984 was a highly sought after car at the time. The carbon fibre and aluminium chassis was designed to reduce the cars overall weight without sacrificing strength and agility. This was beneath an aluminium honeycomb monocoque that was the second lightest in Formula One that year. Powering the car was a six-cylinder turbocharged Hart 1.5L 414T engine. The engine produced 420 brake horse power (bhp) at 10500 RPMs with 506 bhp available at maximum boost. The car featured Toleman designed inboard suspension with double wishbones and a pull rod push rod actuated rear damper system while disc brakes all around provided impressive power for the time. The combination of the power and agility of the TG184 made it a formidable force on the track, and it helped elevate Tolemans appearance in the Formula One paddock. Since its launch in 1984, the Toleman TG184 F1 OW has become an iconic piece of motorsport history and will forever remain part of the legacy of Formula One.
