The MG TC Roadster is an icon of 1940s automobiles. Produced in 1945, it was part of MG's much-praised line of sports cars. The TC Roadster was a two-seater, open-top vehicle with a superior build quality and sporty experience. It had a low-slung profile and an ultra-lightweight curb weight of slightly less than 1800kg. The exterior had distinctive headlamps, a separate grille, and small bumpers that gave the TC Roadster a unique, stylish aesthetic. The power was supplied by a 4-cylinder, 1.3-litre engine with an impressive output of 53 brake horsepower. The TC Roadster was quick and agile with a top speed of over 80mph. The performance was further enhanced by a four-speed synchromesh gearbox and a 6.5-inch rigid rear axle. The MG TC Roadster had plain drum brakes on all four wheels, which provided good stopping power. The suspension was made up of Aframe at the front and a live axle at the rear with half-elliptical springs. The TC Roadster came with an MG trademark center-mounted hand-brake, authentic Jaeger dials and a very comfortable interior. This auto was a real pleasure to drive. It had a low center of gravity, agile handling, and a ride that was both sporty and comforting. All in all, the MG TC Roadster1945 was an excellent and reliable vehicle, which was loved by many drivers.
