Specifications MG Magnette OW 1934 blueprint

The MG Magnette OW of 1934 was an innovative model in the long history of the brand. It was a four-door sedan that married the class and sophistication of a luxury marque with the sporty nature of a roadster - a style that was quite unique for its time. With a five-bearing crankshaft inline four-cylinder engine and cradle frame chassis, the MG Magnette OW was capable of a top speed of around 85 mph. Under the hood, the OW featured 8.7:1 compression, a single SU carburetor, and a dry sump lubrication system. The Magnette OW produced a respectable 40 horsepower and was known for its smooth six-speed gearbox. The exterior of the Magnette OW was classic MG - a long, sleek body with a chrome-trimmed grille, whitewall tires, and wire wheels. The interior was well-appointed with leather seating, walnut dash trim, coloured carpets, and high quality upholstery. The car also offered modern conveniences at the time such as turn signals and windshield wipers. Most Maggottes OW were painted an iconic gunmetal grey with black or midnight blue trims. Despite its age, this car still has a timeless appeal in the eyes of classic car aficionados. Whether youre looking for an impressive showpiece or a reliable daily driver, the MG Magnette OW of 1934 is sure to draw attention wherever it rolls.
