The International VCOT-405L Truck, released in 1961, was a reliable, heavy-duty 4x2 cab-over truck manufactured by International Harvester. It had a wheelbase of 138 inches and weighed around 7,000 pounds when loaded. Its World-8 rotating-engine was capable of delivering up to 210 horsepower, making it one of the strongest cab-over trucks of its time. The VCOT-405L had an 8-speed full-synchro transmission with high and low ranges and an optional power take-off, which allowed it to haul uphill more efficiently. The truck's cabs were fully enclosed, allowing for protection from the elements, with seats up to three and the optional feature of a sleeper bunk included. The VCOT-405L also had a deep drop frame and reinforced, durable frame rails for strong load capacity, as well as a number of customizable features. With all of its features, the International VCOT-405L Truck was able to provide top-notch performance for any haul.
