The GAZ AA 4x2 Truck of 1932 was a rugged, reliable and hard-working vehicle designed to tackle the toughest of roads and conditions. It boasted a robust steel frame construction supported by an independent suspension system that gave a smooth ride and maximum comfort to the driver and passengers. The engine was a four-cylinder, 2 liter power unit that provided the truck with ample torque and power, giving it a top speed of up to 45 mph. This was especially impressive for its time, given its load carrying capability with a payload of 2 tonnes. The AA had a wheelbase of 2.2 metres and had the potential to carry up to five passengers, all of whom could be comfortably seated. Externally, the vehicle featured a large cargo bed with a drop-down tailgate for easy access. It also included an additional fuel tank with a capacity of up to 60 litres that allowed it to travel for up to 350 miles on a single tank of fuel. Furthermore, the GAZ AA was outfitted with a 12V electrical system with an external power socket to keep the lights and signal lamps in good working order. Flanking the vehicle's sides were running boards to assist the driver when accessing the cab as well as being useful for tying down cargo. The GAZ AA was one of the most popular commercial vehicles of its time and proved to be a reliable workhorse for many years. With its rugged construction, powerful engine and generous cargo capacity, it was an ideal vehicle for transporting goods and supplies all across the Soviet Union.
