The DKW F8 Cabriolet was a small two-door sporty convertible produced from 1939 to 1945. It featured a styling unique to its make with an elegantly curved hood and sculpted front fenders that dip gently into the generous rear fenders. The car offered plenty of interior space for two passengers, but four could fit quite comfortably in a pinch. The exterior of the car was finished with a bright metallic blue paint that would catch the eye of any passerby, while the interior was appointed with supple cream leather upholstery and a number of creature comforts, such as a convenient glove box and adjustable foot-wells. Under the hood, the car packed a capable two-stroke engine that could rev up to 50 horsepower, which made for a spirited drive in the city or a relaxing cruise on a country road. The F8 was also known for its competent handling and solid braking, with a fully independent wheel suspension for added comfort and performance. All in all, the DKW F8 Cabriolet truly was a classical sports car that any enthusiast could appreciate.
