The classic 1955 Citroen 15CV Traction Avant 6H Sedan was the first mass-produced French front-wheel drive car and a precursor to the modern hatchback. At the time, it was lauded for its advanced engineering, futuristic design, and user-friendly ergonomics. At the forefront of innovation for the era, the 15CV Traction Avant featured a break from most contemporary styling trends with its aerodynamic, low profile, and modern lines.
