The AC 289 Cobra of 1964 was a revolutionary car that turned heads at every corner. Its classic curves, iconic design and raw engine power made it a favorite among classic car enthusiasts across the globe. Its body was made from lightweight fiberglass and featured traditional AC styling with a unique combination of aluminum and steel joints. The car was powered by a small block Ford V8 engine displacing 289 cubic inches and producing around 270 horsepower. The engine was mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, and this power combination could take the car from 0 to 60mph in just 5.8 seconds. The car offered a great driving experience thanks to its legendary suspension set-up. The car featured an independent front with a live axle at the back assisted by coil-over-shocks, making the car handle well in tight corners.
