The LVG C.I II Germany was a twoseat reconnaissance biplane of the World War I. It was developed in 1910 by the LVG Corporation at the request of the Imperial Air Force. Production began with several orders of the C.I model it went into production as C. II. It intended for various combat tasks night bombing reconnaissance. Due to its flight and technical characteristics it was the most important thing aircraft. More than 300 units had been manufactured. It was the first time aircraft with a gun turret to be placed in the aft crew station. A fixedwing aircraft which the first daytime bombardment of London was carried out from in November 1916. Prior to that bombing was done by the zeppelins.
