The IAR 80 was a Romanian-built World War II fighter aircraft and one of the most important achievements of Romanian engineering during the war effort. Constructed largely of wood, the IAR 80 was a nimble craft that could traverse large swathes of airspace with ease despite its disadvantageous power to weight ratio. Its distinctive gull wing design gave it a unique edge in dogfights, allowing it to maneuver quickly and unexpectedly while its two-piece fuselage construction offered strong aerodynamic properties that enabled superb maneuverability. Its armament came in the form of two wing-mounted machine guns and a fixed forward-firing machine gun, providing a significant edge in combat. The IAR 80 also featured folding wings for easier storage and transport during the war, a unique feature among its contemporaries. Although short of its intended performance goals, the IAR 80s durable construction made it a reliable and rugged fighter in the hands of skilled pilots. Its legacy lives on today as a symbol of Romanian innovation during the war years.
Careful measurement of the actual dimensions of the models, when creating their sketches, guarantees the high accuracy of our drawings, which is at the level of 94% - 99%.
When creating working drawings, all proportions of the depicted objects are strictly maintained.
You no longer need to create individual drawings of parts from scratch. The required changes to existing works are easily made using graphic editors.
