Specifications Brewster SB2A Bucaneer blueprint

SB2A Buccaneer an American naval reconnaissance bomber of the Second world war by coincidence passed the way from a promising combat unit to a target tug. Designed in 1939 by Brewster in the series 19421944 produced about 700 units. By the time of the first takeoff in June 1941 the company already had supply contracts for the US Navy the Netherlands and the Royal Air Force. But the characteristics of the SB2A turned out to be worse than the prototype so the Americans considered it a secondary car. For the British it became the most expensive and unnecessary dive bomber. The plane did not contribute to the defeat of the enemy but caused damage to the British economy by 70 million dollars.
