Specifications Polikarpov R1 blueprint

The Polikarpov R1 was an army reconnaissance airplane the first mass aircraft of the young country of Soviets which the designer of the State Aircraft Factory No. 1 GAZ No. 1 made from scratch. It was modelled on the English de Havilland D.H.9. It was produced from 1924 to 1932 and 2.5 thousand units were produced. Despite its generic characteristics the aircraft dominated almost a decade without separation on 16 of the land. It was used for reconnaissance fire adjustment as a light bomber a simulator to educate a new generation of pilots etc. The R1 release to a greater extent came from money raised by a public subscription organized by the Society of Friends of the Air Fleet SFAF.
