Specifications La 152 blueprint

The La152 was the second attempt of 301DB with the guidance of S.A. Lavochkin to create a Soviet jet fighter. The shape of the aircraft was converted and looked like the Yak15. It was a midplane with a low wing and a rearshifted cabin. To simplify assembly and operation the aircraft engine was installed on a superior suspension. This also enabled it to replace the engine without changing the fuselage design. Compared to the Yak15 due to aerodynamics and a large reserve of fuel the latest fighter exceeded it in speed. Takeoff and landing characteristics limited by landing on ground runways the most frequent at the time. The accident at the state tests put paid to it. That fighter remained a construction.
