Specifications ZIS 6 BZ-35 Fuel Truck 1933 blueprint

The ZIS 6 BZ-35 Fuel Truck 1933 was a robust and reliable model of heavy-duty transport vehicle developed by the Soviet automobile company ZIS during the 1930s. Produced from 1933 to 1945, this classic truck was an incredibly durable and dependable mechanism, capable of reaching maximum speeds of up to 50 km/h. Its four-cylinder engine generated an impressive 145 horsepower, though its overall weight of either 6 or 7 tons allowed for a maximum load capacity of 5 tons. The ZIS 6 BZ-35 Fuel Truck 1933 had a considerable length of 5.5 meters and featured an open cab with a single seat, with the driver having to sit to the left, with space for four passengers. The exterior was built with steel framing covered in a distinctive, pale green paint job that progressively faded over time in a signature patina, giving the truck its characteristic look. Containing a 4-speed, manual transmission, the small wheelbase allowed for improved maneuverability, particularly in tight turns. Its impressive array of rectangular hubcaps provided ample ground clearance and were especially suitable for off-road terrains, lending to its universal appeal and reliability. As a fuel hauling vehicle, it contained two separate fuel tanks of 160 and 35 liters respectively, in addition to a third, smaller, tank located near the cabin and on the front bumper. These elements all work together to provide a comprehensive design, full of vintage charm and contemporary utility.
