The ZAZ 966 Sedan 1967 is a Soviet-produced passenger car that was produced from 1967 to 1994. This was the last of the ZAZ family of vehicles. It was known for its rather boxy design with a tall, upright grille and angular lines. The vehicle stood on a comparatively small 2,400 mm wheelbase and came packaged with a 2,000 cc OHC petrol engine, four-speed manual gearbox, and MacPherson strut suspension. The interior was pretty minimalistic, with basic materials, and simple plastics. It featured seating for five and was equipped with a heating system to keep the interior warm in cold climates. The ZAZ 966 was a reliable vehicle despite its age and simplicity, delivering about 75 horsepower to the wheels, and a top speed of 120 km/h. It was rugged and could handle all kinds of terrain including challenging off-road conditions. Despite its small size, it could accommodate ample cargo and was popular for outdoor activities such as camping. The ZAZ 966 had a unique personality and a style that has stood the test of time, making it a timeless classic.
