The Triumph TR-7 Coupe 1976 is a two-door coupe produced by British-based company Triumph Motor Company from 1976-1981. It was the successor to the Triumph TR6 and was the last new model launched before the company went into receivership in 1981. The TR-7 had a sleek and modern design with angular lines and a long hood. The front end featured a black mesh-style grille and bold, round headlamps. It was offered with either a 1.5L inline-four or a 2.0L inline four engine, paired to either a 4-speed manual, 5-speed manual, or 3-speed automatic transmission. It had a comfortable and roomy interior, with stylish brushed metal covers on the instrument panel, and upholstery in various hues of blue, red, and black. The extended dashboard included a full complement of gauges, and the soft-top could be retracted and stowed away beneath a panel in the trunk. The TR-7 had plenty of safety features like independent suspension, anti-lock brakes, and seatbelts for all passengers. It was a reliable and attractive auto option for those looking for a classic British sports car.
