The Toyota Carina II Sedan 1988 was a classic family sedan, built for both durability and practicality. It had a dark gray body with a hint of light blue trim and a matching interior. The vehicle was powered by a 1.6L inline-four engine, which produced 88 hp and 84 lbs-ft of torque and was paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Its Suspension was made up of MacPherson Struts with a fully independent five-link rear suspension setup, giving it a stable, comfortable ride. In addition to this, the wheelbase was quite large, measuring at around 2,300mm. As for exterior features, the car had painted bumpers, blacked-out side mouldings, chrome door handles, and fifteen-inch steel wheels. Inside the car, there was a standard stereo system with an AM/FM radio, as well as optional air conditioning and power windows. The cabin was roomy, providing plenty of space with five comfortable bucket seats. The Toyota Carina II had the makings of a reliable and economical sedan and was great for a medium-sized family.
