The 1949 Simca 8/1200 Camionette Pick-up was a dependable and sturdy French-made vehicle produced by the Simca from 1949 until 1954. Although the 8/1200 Camionette Pick-up was not the most powerful of the Simca models, it was noted for its impressive load-carrying capacities. It was a utilitarian vehicle, available in both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive models, which offered just the right balance of performance and payload. Its simple styling featured a straight-forward two-box design, with a snub nose and rectangular-shaped front grille. The interior was basic, with a single bench seat in the cab, two simple gauges and shifter, and a three-speed manual column shift transmission.
