The Leyton House CG901 F1 OW (Ouroboros Wasp) is a Formula 1 race car from the 1990 season. It was the last car built under the Leyton House name, and featured a sleek aerodynamic design that helped it to stand out from other cars of its time. The car was powered by a Judd V8 engine and a Penthouse X-Trac 5-speed manual transmission that allowed the driver to switch between gears quickly and smoothly. At the front, the Leyton House CG901 F1 OW 1990 featured a 3-element nose cone-style design with a double-element front wing. It also featured a low-slung airbox which was meant to support the engine. The sidepods were designed with a high-mounted inlet section to allow the most efficient airflow possible and to reduce drag. The rear of the car featured a multi-element rear wing as well as a central diffuser, and two movable elements were placed in the lower edge of the barge boards for optimal downforce. The most intriguing feature of the car, however, was the distinctive Ouroboros Wasp livery. With its yellow base and blue and red stripes, this colorful livery helped the car stand out on the track. The Leyton House CG901 F1 OW 1990 was a fast and reliable car that could hurtle around the track with great speed and efficiency. It was a highly sought-after car in its time, and is still a well-known and much-loved race car today.
