The Krupp Protze Kfz69 3-7 PAK Truck is an all-terrain four-wheel-drive vehicle designed for service in the German Army during World War II. It was mainly used as a light towing vehicle, although it was built to run in a variety of roles, including passenger transport and cargo carrying. Its simple construction made it easy to operate and maintain, and its low center of gravity made it ideal for navigating difficult terrain. The Protze featured a strong chassis and open bed with a load capacity of five tons. The front end of the truck featured independent suspension, while the rear featured two cylinders with longitudinal leaf springs. The truck was powered by a four-cylinder horizontal-opposed engine that made it capable of speeds up to 50 km/h. This engine could also give the vehicle a maximum weight of 25 tons when towing. It featured a two seat cab that could be fitted with radios, and the cabin was also fitted with side screening and an armored overhead cover. The truck also featured an engine cover and front cross-shield to protect the crew from enemy fire and shrapnel. Overall, the Krupp Protze Kfz69 3-7 PAK Truck was a reliable and versatile vehicle, boasting impressive stability and mobility that allowed it to transfer both personnel and cargo over difficult terrain.
