Described as the ultimate American muscle car, the 2009 Saleen S302 Extreme Coupe marks the end of an era and the zenith of a legacy. This legendary 2-door muscle car was one of the last models that was exclusively developed, designed and built by Saleen. Limited to only 15 examples, the S302 Extreme Coupe was developed to ensure maximum performance. From the outside, this corner-tearing beast exudes attitude. The curves and contours of the bodywork flow perfectly and make way for an array of vents and intakes where air is forced into the engine to keep temperatures low. A spoiler is mounted on the rear to improve downforce and the sleek 18-inch alloy wheels look stunning whilst the Brembo brakes provide superb stopping power. Under the hood lies a ferocious 5.9 liter V-8 engine made of forged aluminum. Thanks to a Saleen supercharger with intercooler, it can deliver a monstrous 500 horsepower output enough to make your heart skip a beat. The air-to-liquid cooler ensures that temperatures remain low, while the 6-speed manual transmission with dual-disc clutch allows you to take full control of the car. The S302 comes with a bespoke suspension and subframe thats been designed to keep the tires planted firmly on the road while helping you attack those turns. Inside, youll find comfortable leather seats with airbags and an integrated safety cage to keep you safe in case of an accident. It features Saleen brakes and Supercharger, as well as a modern interior with sporty touches.
