The Rastrojero 1952 is the result of a project of the national company IAME - Industrias Aeronuticas y Mecnicas del Estado, at the time of the rise of the local labor force and support for domestic industries, during the presidency of the general Juan Domingo Pern. For the production of this vehicle, they used Empire tractor parts purchased from the United States government a few years after the end of World War II. These tractors had a problem in their design, and their manufacture had been discontinued. Eventually, they were converted by a group of technicians and engineers who were working on the tuning of the new truck. The first Rastrojero rolled off the assembly lines in 1952. From 1952 to 1954, it was equipped with a gasoline engine of 2199 cm3 of displacement, directly derived from that which fitted the Empire tractors, developing a power of 65 hp SAE at 4000 rpm. The gearbox was three-speed. 2,365 units of this petrol version were produced in three years. From 1954, the Willys gasoline engine was replaced by a Borgward D4M diesel engine with indirect injection of 1,758 cm3 developing a power of 42 hp SAE at 3,400 rpm On our website you can download a drawing of IAME Rastrojero Truck 1954 in pdf svg png jpg ai eps formats Use it for 3d modelling different illustrations typography engineering and design projects All our drawings are made in high quality therefore they can be very helpful in your work study or research.
