The 1984 Hummer Humvee Open Pickup was an all-terrain military vehicle that was manufactured and released to the public by AM General in the same year. It had a boxy design that featured a large cargo bed at the back, brick-like styling, and long wheelbase for optimum carrying capacity. The exterior of the 1984 Hummer Humvee was highlighted with the bold and iconic HUMMER brand name emblazoned in headlights plus checkered decal patterning across its hood and door panels. It was powered by a beastly 6.2-litre V8 Diesel engine coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission. This grinding powertrain drove all four 17-inch mud-terrain tires that could traverse all kinds of terrains and challenge obstacles. The Hummer Humvee had a seating capacity of four plus a maximum of 600 lb. payload. Its air-cooled interiors had air conditioning, heating, and an AM/FM cassette stereo system with 6-band graphic equalizer for the folks in the cabin to enjoy their drives. Furthermore, the Hummer Humvee could tow an impressive 8000 lbs. of cargo - making it a great hauling machine. It was a workhorse vehicle that offered a great combination of power, resilience, and a touch of style
