The Honda RA273 F1 OW 1966 is a legendary Formula One race car that has left a lasting mark on the racing world. Built and developed by Honda over a period of four years, the RA273 was the embodiment of Hondas dedication and commitment to excellence and advanced engineering. Built on a lightweight aluminum monocoque, the RA273 featured a 3 liter V12-engined DOHC Honda RA273E producing 420 hp at 11,000 rpm. The interior of the RA273 featured a Honda-made gearbox and differential, as well as a common fuel pressure regulator. The exterior of the car featured lightweight body panels made from polyester and fibreglass, with four-lobed external air ducts. The design of the car was aerodynamically advanced, featuring a fierce-looking shark-finned engine and air intake cowling.
