The Dodge WC-54 Ambulance Van 1965 was a workhorse of the Vietnam era. It was a 4x4 van designed to be as rugged and reliable as possible. It was used to transport wounded soldiers to field hospitals and medical facilities. Its aerodynamics and weight were carefully controlled to make it as efficient as possible while still able to carry cargo. The van was powered by a 225-cubic-inch 6-cylinder engine with a three-speed transmission, and was capable of pushing forward up to 60 mph.
