The Dodge Nitro SUV wheeled out of showrooms in 2007 with its unique style and massive engine. Sporting a black-chrome grille and 20-inch alloy wheels, the Nitro provided a higher-end look with an eye towards bigger performance. The sculpted body of the Nitro had an aerodynamic shape that set it apart from other vehicles on the road. On the inside, the cabin was comfortable for up to five passengers, with plenty of legroom. The Nitro offered a standard 3.7-liter V6 engine with 209hp and 235 lb-ft of torque, giving it plenty of power for its 4,400 pound body. For handling, the Nitro had McPherson struts with coils in the front and a five-link rear suspension. The brakes featured large vented discs and were more than capable of stopping the vehicle in an emergency.
