The De Tomaso Pantera Coupe, made in 1975, was a very unique car to come out of the sports car market during the 70s and it has since become one of the most iconic designs of the time. The car had a very distinct appearance, with its low-slung stance and aggressive lines. The body of the car was made from fibreglass and was available in a number of different colours, such as red, blue, black and white. The front end of the car featured an oval grille which has become a signature of the model. The Pantera also had a full width rear spoiler, which could also be adjusted for downforce. It was powered by a 5.7L Ford Cleveland V8 engine, and could reach a top speed of 162 mph. Inside the cabin, the car had an expansive dashboard that housed the instrument cluster, with illuminated red lights for the tachometer, speedometer and other gauges. The interior of the car was also outfitted with comfortable leather seats, air conditioning and a stereo system. Despite its age, the De Tomaso Pantera Coupe still retains its characteristic elegance, and is sure to draw admiration from petrolheads and car enthusiasts alike.
