Specifications Datsun 100A E10 Hatchback 1970 blueprint

The Datsun 100A E10 Hatchback, also known as the Nissan Cherry, was introduced in 1970 as a new line of subcompact cars from the Japanese automaker. This little hatchback was designed to be a fun and affordable vehicle for young drivers and small families. The 100A E10 was equipped with a 1.0-liter inline-four engine, producing around 57 horsepower, which was coupled with a four-speed manual transmission. It was a front-engine, front-wheel-drive vehicle, which made it easy to maneuver and park. The exterior of the 100A E10 was compact and boxy, with a sloping front end and a rear hatchback that provided easy access to the cargo area. The headlights were mounted high on the front fenders, and the grille was small and unassuming. The rear of the car had a unique design with the taillights mounted high on the C-pillars, giving it a distinct look. The 100A E10 was available in several colors, including blue, green, orange, and red. Inside, the 100A E10 had a basic, but functional interior. The front seats were comfortable, and there was enough legroom for taller drivers. The dashboard was simple and easy to read, with all the necessary gauges and controls within easy reach. The rear seats were a bit cramped, but they could be folded down to create more cargo space. The 100A E10 was a popular car in its time, thanks to its affordable price and sporty design. It was also fuel-efficient, with an estimated 30 miles per gallon on the highway. Although it was not the fastest car on the road, it was fun to drive and had a nimble handling. The 100A E10 was also reliable, and many examples can still be found on the road today. It remains a classic example of a well-built, economical car that was designed to meet the needs of a new generation of drivers.
