The Bugatti Type 59 Grand Prix OW 1933 was a legendary race car from yesteryear that defined a new era of automotive excellence. This incredible machine was the first amongst a long series of renowned models crafted by the Bugatti factory. The Type 59 was built between 1933 and 1934 and was perhaps one of the most advanced machines of its day. This car was designed quite innovatively, featuring a light yet rigid chassis and a powerful engine. The Type 59 was driven by a 3.3L inline 8-cylinder supercharged engine with a maximum output of around 170-180 hp. This was paired with a four-speed Cotal transmission and is capable of reaching a top speed of around 143 mph. The car was also quite aggressive and attractive in design.
