The Bentley Continental GT is a luxury coupe presented in 2002 at the Paris Motor Show. Marketed the following year, it is the first Bentley of the Volkswagen era, being in a range lower than that of the Continental. This juggernaut weighing more than 2.3 tonnes is powered by a W12 engine with 6 L displacement. A restyled version (phase II) was marketed from 2012. After 66,000 units sold worldwide1, it was replaced in 2017 by the Bentley Continental GT II. Phase 2 (2010-2015) This second phase evolves timidly from a stylistic point of view. Note, however, the refined rear optics while the headlights are adorned with LEDs, just like the Mulsanne.
