The 1926 Austin Seven AD Tourer Sedan was an iconic British motor car that offered a distinctively simple and well-crafted aesthetic. Built for road touring and light open-top motoring, the Austin Seven AD Tourer Sedan was purpose-built for a classic driving experience. Its elegant four-door touring body provided a generous open cabin with room for four adult passengers. Standing in at 11 feet long and only 4 feet wide, the compact design of the Tourer took up little space on the road. Its dimensions were complimented by low, flowing lines that gave the Sedan a stylish, aerodynamic look while maintaining a top speed of 48 mph. The Austin Seven AD was powered by a 7hp, 748 cc four-cylinder engine and was equipped with a three-speed gearbox, making it perfect for leisurely excursions and capable of easily handling rough country roads. Innovative touches such as flush-fitting side windows and wire-spoked wheels add a modern touch to the classic Austin Seven design. The car was finished off with a deep Dark Green paint scheme and classic Austin fittings such as oil lamps and a brass radiator. With its sumptuously comfortable interior and excellent performance, the Austin Seven AD Tourer Sedan has remained popular to this day and has achieved iconic status among classic car collectors.
