The Heinkel He 177A1 was a heavy bomber created by Heinkel design bureau in Germany. The aircraft made its first test flight in 1939 and after some improvements in 1942 it was adopted at Luftwaffe where it was nicknamed flying fireworks. That aircrafts production continued until 1944 and it was decommissioned in April 1945. It could deliver up to 1 ton of bombs over a distance of 4101 miles ca. 6600 km.
